Virtual Room
Co-op VR vs solo VR: what Virtual Room changes
A VR headset at home is isolating. At Virtual Room, the whole team explores the same virtual world at the same time.

At a glance — a consumer VR headset locks a single player away in their living room. At Virtual Room, up to 10 people share the same virtual world at the same time, each one seeing the others' avatars move around them, for a shared one-hour mission. From age 8 for the first chapter, 10 for the second.
Putting a VR headset on alone at home is a solitary experience by design: one player, one universe, no interaction. Impressive in the moment, but that's where it stops — no one to tell about what you just experienced, no one next to you to share the surprise. Co-op VR changes the equation completely.
The solo headset isolates, co-op VR brings people together
The difference isn't about headset technology — it's about what happens between the players. In solo VR, the virtual world exists for one person only: no way to run into a teammate, coordinate, or laugh together over a mistake. At Virtual Room, the whole group enters the same universe at the same moment. Every player sees the others' avatars moving, reacting, looking for a solution — exactly as if everyone were physically in the same virtual room, while each person keeps their own viewpoint and their own headset.
This shared presence changes the entire feel of the experience. You're no longer looking at a screen alone: you solve a mission together, split up tasks, call out to each other across the virtual universe. It's this social dimension, absent from a consumer headset, that makes Virtual Room a group activity in its own right rather than a mere tech gadget.
